HAYA AISHA

Haya Aisha (‘alive’), named after Aisha bint Abu Bakr, a beloved wife of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), regarded as one of the most learned women.

Her outspoken intellect has influenced Islamic scholarship for generations, challenging

the stereotype of the passive Muslim woman.

In celebration of the fecundity of a woman’s wisdom, this one-sleeve gown redefines modest evening wear in two parts.

Delicate satin threads grow into a well-cultivated garden of floral and leaf patterns embroidered onto a tulle base. Small scattered sequins add a subtle sparkle to the sky-blue kaftan.

In place of a standard lining, the Haya Aisha gown has an inner gown mirroring the harmonious sky-blue hue. The strapless column silhouette drapes effortlessly along the body form, adding subtle volume at the floor-length hemline. Made from luxurious silk charmeuse satin, the dress is elegant enough to be worn on its own.
